Stephen C. Damico




Stephen C. Damico, 70, of Meadville, died Sunday, Nov. 22, 2009, at UPMC-Montefiore.

He was born in Meadville on April 27, 1939, a son of Frank Damico and Carmella Montana Damico.

He worked as an assembler at Vallonia Industries for 20 years.

He was of the Catholic faith.

He was a member of the Special Olympics and loved all types of music. He enjoyed trains and horses.

Survivors include a sister, Dina Fishback and her husband, Michael, of Las Vegas, Nev.; a brother, Frank Damico and his wife, Connie, of Sacramento, Calif.; three nephews, Mark Damico, Franco Damico and Stephen Fishback; two nieces, Stephanie Costley and Amy Papadopoulos; several great-nieces and great-nephews; caregivers, Ron and Bonnie Nottingham of Conneaut Lake; several cousins and a large extended family.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Memorial Mass will be celebrated at St. Mary of Grace Church, 1085 Water St., Meadville, at 10 a.m. Saturday, officiated by Father Richard Toohey of St. Mary of Grace.
