HARMONSBURG — Dorothy Bishop Gehr, 77, of Harmonsburg, died Thursday, Nov. 19, 2009, at Rolling Fields.
Born in Tomahawk, Wis., on Dec. 18, 1931, she was a daughter of James and Lucille Mushchinski Miller.
She was a bartender at Linesville Veterans of Foreign Wars for 20 years.
She was a member of the women’s auxiliary of Linesville Veterans of Foreign Wars.
Survivors include a son, Shad Bishop of Harmonsburg; two sisters, Lavern Turinski and Judy Diner, both of Milwaukee, Wis.; and her former husband, David Bishop of Salem, Ill.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and a sister, Betty July.
Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
The family would like to say a special thank you to the nurses and aides at Rolling Fields, especially Patricia White, Dorothy’s nurse.
