LINESVILLE — Evelyn G. O’Neal, 80, of 209 McHale Drive, Linesville, died Tuesday, Nov. 24, 2009, at Meadville Medical Center.

She was born in Meadville on Oct. 1, 1929, a daughter of George Henry Glancy Sr. and Wanda Craig Glancy.

She had previously been employed at Kodak of Cleveland, Ohio, in production.

She was of the Protestant faith. She enjoyed family picnics and her pet dogs. She was regular at Conneaut Lake Park Fire Hall for spaghetti and was a lifetime member of the fire department auxiliary. She had attended Meadville schools.

She is survived by a son, James Rupert and his wife, Claudet, of Florida; a sister, Doris; a half sister, Edna Bailey and her husband, Ray, of Cochranton; two half brothers, George H. Glancy and his wife, Sandra, of Conneaut Lake, and Paul E. Glancy and his wife, Brenda, of Springboro; two step sisters, Alice Truax and Grace Taylor, both of Linesville; a step brother, Carl Snyder and his wife, Martha, of Conneaut Lake; four grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, Kenneth and Robert Glancy; and a sister, Ida Stallsmith.

Visitation will be Friday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at Dickson Funeral Home, 130 N. Second St., Conneaut Lake.

The funeral will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at the funeral home, with the Rev Shirley Featsent of the Dominion Republic officiating.

Interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Harmonsburg.
