Canadohta Lake Ice Fishing Tournament on for Saturday

Organizer expects big turnout

BLOOMFIELD TOWNSHIP — The Canadohta Lake Ice Fishing Tournament has been rescheduled for Saturday after the original Feb. 9 tournament date was canceled.

The tournament runs from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. No fishing is allowed before 7 a.m. Cash prizes will be awarded at 4:30 p.m. for longest fish in each category — musky, northern pike, walleye, crappie and perch.

Tickets may be purchased at Timberland Bait Shop, 36320 Dutch Hill Road, Union City, up to Saturday morning. There will also be a 50/50 during the event. One ticket costs $5.
