MEADVILLE — - Sara L. Schwartz, 34, of Conneautville was operating a horse and buggy eastbound along Fisher Road in Beaver Township at 2:03 p.m. June 17 when the horse became spooked and suddenly turned to the left in to the westbound lane and into the path of a motorcycle being driven by Richard R. Szymanski, 44, of Conneaut, Ohio. Szymanski was unable to stop, impacted the buggy and was thrown from his bike. Schwartz and a passenger, Lydia L. Schwartz, 30, of Conneautville were uninjured. The buggy received moderate damage, though the horse was uninjured. Szymanski received minor injuries, but refused treatment at the scene.
