- Evron Householder, 87, of Saegertown, was driving south on Route 19 in Union Township at 2:13 p.m. March 5 when he drove his vehicle into the back of a vehicle being driven by Betty Walters, 62, no address listed. Walters was reportedly not wearing a seatbelt and sustained injuries; Householder was wearing a seatbelt and wasn’t injured. Both vehicles reportedly sustained severe damages.
- David L. Griggs, 20, of Hartstown, was driving east on Route 322 in South Shenango Township at 4:55 p.m. March 4 when he began turning onto Linesville Road and drove his vehicle into the path of a vehicle being driven west by Michael J. Schuwerk, 48, of Jamestown. Both drivers were wearing seatbelts; no injuries were reported. Both vehicles were reportedly towed from the scene.

- Someone stole a license plate — Pennsylvania registration HDK2148 — from a Walnut Street man’s vehicle while it parked sometime between March 3 and 5.

- Someone broke into a Henry Road, Cambridge Springs residence and stole a 101 Winchester Skeet-and-Skeet shotgun, an Ithaca Model 37, a Remington 11-87, a Remington 700 Series 30-06 and a 1971 Cambridge Springs High School class ring sometime between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. March 5. Anyone with information is asked to call 332-6911.
- Someone stole a 21-year-old Meadville man’s laptop computer, cellular telephone and wallet — valued at a total of $1,100 — during a party at a Baldwin Street Extension, West Mead Township residence around 2:20 a.m. March 6.
- Someone broke into an Atlantic Road, East Fallowfield Township shop and stole an undisclosed amount of money from a cash register sometime between 2:20 and 2:40 a.m. March 6. The unidentified suspect fled the scene in a full-size pickup truck after encountering the shop’s owner. An investigation continues. Anyone with related information is asked to contact state police at 332-6911.
- Unknown persons removed a Centerville area man’s Ford Model 600 tractor with a front-end loader from a Troy Township location along Route 27 between Feb. 17 and Tuesday.
- An unknown person entered a Steuben Township woman’s home along Fine Road at 10:50 p.m. Sunday. Once inside, the victim confronted the suspect, a brief struggle occurred and the suspect fled in an unknown direction. No description was given of the suspect.
- A 9-mm pistol, three gold rings, rolls of change and a checkbook were taken from a Bloomfield Township man’s home on Center Street between Saturday and Wednesday.
n Someone entered a Hatch Hill Road, East Mead Township residence and stole two jewelry boxes containing multiple pieces of jewelry including gold necklaces, earrings and rings.

Magisterial District Judge
Frederick A. Vincent Jr., 46, of Hartstown, was arraigned Dec. 19 before Magisterial District Judge Rita Marwood on Pennsylvania State Police charges of one count each of burglary, criminal trespass and theft by unlawful taking for an incident Dec. 18. He was released on $25,000 unsecured bond then recommitted to Crawford County jail, Saegertown, on previous, unrelated charges.
Ricky A. Anthony, 24, of Cochranton, was bound over to the next term of court Dec. 28 on state police charges of two counts of driving under the influence and two summary offenses for an incident Oct. 22 and was released on his own recognizance.
Rebecca E. Conn, 31, of Jamestown, waived her right to a preliminary hearing Dec. 28 on a state police charge of one count of retail theft for an incident Nov. 26 and was released on her own recognizance.

Magisterial District Judge
Christopher A. Boston, 19, of Meadville, was bound over to the next term of court Dec. 5 before Magisterial District Judge William Chisholm on Meadville City Police Department charges of two counts of possession with intent to manufacture or deliver and one count each of possession of a controlled substance, criminal use of a communication facility and criminal conspiracy for incidents March 2, 2010 and July 23, 2010 and was recommitted to Crawford County jail, Saegertown, in lieu of $100,000 bond.
Philip J. Reichard, 55, of Cambridge Springs, waived his right to a preliminary hearing Dec. 8 on a Pennsylvania Office of Inspector General charge of one count of welfare fraud for an incident July 31 and was released on his own recognizance.
Brandon A. Smith, 30, of Meadville, was arraigned Dec. 10 before Linesville-area Magisterial District Judge Rita Marwood, acting for Chisholm, on separately-filed Meadville police charges of six counts of possession with intent to manufacture or deliver and two counts each of criminal use of a communication facility and possession of a controlled substance for incidents Aug. 31, Sept. 7 and Sept. 8; and one count each of possession with intent to manufacture or deliver and possession of a controlled substance for an incident Dec. 10 and was committed to Crawford County jail, Saegertown, in lieu of a total of $75,000 bond.

Brian S. Jaggi, 26, of Corry, was bound over to the next term of court Dec. 15 before Magisterial District Judge Amy Nicols on Pennsylvania State Police at Corry charges of one count each of theft by unlawful taking, receiving stolen property and defiant trespass for an incident Nov. 3 and was released on his own recognizance.
Joseph D. Gaydosh, 23, address listed as Crawford County Correctional Facility, Saegertown, waived his right to a preliminary hearing Dec. 22 on Titusville Police Department charges of three counts each of statutory sexual assault, indecent assault, unlawful contact with a minor and corruption of minors for an incident June 1 and was recommitted to the jail in lieu of $50,000 bond.

Magisterial District Judge
Hakeem A. Selma, 21, of Columbus, Ohio, waived his right to a preliminary hearing Dec. 8 before Magisterial District Judge Michael Rossi on Vernon Township Police Department charges of one count each of indecent assault, recklessly endangering another person and harassment for an incident Aug. 23 and was released on $3,500 bond.
Justin R. Hunt, 18, of Meadville, waived his right to a preliminary hearing Dec. 13 on Pennsylvania State Police charges of two counts each of possession with intent to manufacture or deliver, possession of a controlled substance, driving under the influence and criminal conspiracy; one count each of underage drinking and use/possession of drug paraphernalia; and four summary traffic offenses for an incident July 1 and was released on $1,500 bond.
Chad M. Eckenrode, 31, of Linesville, was bound over to the next term of court Dec. 19 on state police charges of two counts of theft by deception and one count each of deceptive/fraudulent business practices, theft by failure to make required disposition of funds and home improvement fraud for incidents between Jan. 1, 2008, and Oct. 31 and was released on $10,000 bond.
Lloyd A. Decker, 31, of Waterford, was bound over to the next term of court Dec. 21 on state police charges of three counts each of theft by deception and securing execution of documents by deception; two counts of theft by failure to make required disposition of funds; and one count of deceptive business practices for an incident Jan. 1, 2010 and was recommitted to Crawford County jail, Saegertown, in lieu of $45,000 bond.Crashes

Patti Fiely, 39, of Cambridge Springs, was driving north on Old Plank Road in Venango Township at 9:54 a.m. Dec. 1 when her vehicle struck a deer that had run onto the road. Fiely was wearing a seatbelt and wasn’t injured.
Thomas Jackson, no age listed, of Madison, Ohio, was driving east on Route 6 in Conneaut Township around 11:30 a.m. Dec. 1 when his vehicle struck a deer that had run onto the road. Jackson was wearing a seatbelt and wasn’t injured.
Andrew J. Fauzey, 22, of Titusville, was driving north on Route 428 in Plum Township, Mercer County at 9:09 p.m. Dec. 6 when he lost control of his vehicle while attempting to avoid striking a deer that had run onto the road, causing the vehicle to travel off the road and roll over. Fauzey was wearing a seatbelt and sustained moderate injuries.
Randall F. Uzarski, 47, of Linesville, was driving north on Interstate 79 in Cussewago Township at 4:10 a.m. Dec. 8 when his vehicle struck a deer that had run onto the road. Uzarski was wearing a seatbelt and wasn’t injured. His vehicle sustained serious damage.
Michael D. Callan, 18, of Saegertown, was driving south on Route 6/19 in Hayfield Township at 7:30 a.m. Dec. 10 when he lost control of his vehicle due to icy road conditions, causing the vehicle to travel off the road and strike a guiderail and several trees. Callan was wearing a seatbelt and wasn’t injured.
Joseph A. Wojciechowski, 67, of Butler, was driving north on Interstate 79 in Hayfield Township at 9:43 a.m. Dec. 10 when his vehicle struck a deer that had run onto the road. Wojciechowski was wearing a seatbelt and wasn’t injured.
Sandra B. Almaroad, 61, of Madison, Ind., was driving east on Route 322 in East Fairfield Township at 6:35 p.m. Dec. 13 when her vehicle struck two deer that had run onto the road. Almaroad was wearing a seatbelt and wasn’t injured. The vehicle sustained major damage and required towing from the scene.
Kelley D. Wolfkiel, 45, of Titusville, was driving east on Thompson Run Road in Hydetown at 6:35 p.m. Dec. 13 when she lost control of her vehicle due to icy road conditions, causing the vehicle to cross into the opposing lane, strike a guiderail and roll onto its side. Wolfkiel was wearing a seatbelt and wasn’t injured. The vehicle sustained disabling damage and required towing from the scene.
Janet A. Zehner, 50, of Titusville, was driving south on Route 8 in Cherry Tree Township, Venango County at 5:55 p.m. Dec. 17 when she lost control of her vehicle due to icy road conditions, causing the vehicle to travel off the road and into a ditch, striking a large rock. Zehner was wearing a seatbelt and wasn’t injured. The vehicle sustained disabling damage and was required towing from the scene.
Stephanie M. Stiglitz, 25, of Pleasantville, was driving west on Route 27 in Oil Creek Township at 9:50 a.m. Dec. 17 when she lost control of her vehicle due to icy road conditions, causing the vehicle to spin off the road and travel sideways into a deep ditch.
