Magisterial District Judge
- Lynn B. Simonton, 21, of 306 Tadmar Ave., Pittsburgh, waived her right to a preliminary hearing before Magisterial District Judge Lincoln Zilhaver and was bound over to the next term of court on charges of driving under the influence. Pennsylvania State Police filed the charges for an incident May 5. She was released on her own recognizance.
- Dashawn D. Tisdale, no age given, 20778 Morris Road, Meadville, was arraigned Tuesday on charges of theft by unlawful taking and receiving stolen property. State police filed the charges for an incident March 29. He was released on $5,000 bond. A preliminary hearing on the charges is scheduled July 2.

- Pamela B. Wills, 40, of 740 1⁄2 Park Ave., Meadville, waived her right to a preliminary hearing June 24 before Magisterial District Judge William D. Chisholm on Meadville police charges of one count of access device fraud and theft by deception for an incident June 24 and was released on her own recognizance.
- George E. Newsome, 36, of 1201 South Main St., Meadville, waived his right to a preliminary hearing June 24 before Magisterial District Judge William D. Chisholm on Meadville police charges of one count each of loitering/prowling at night, disorderly conduct and public drunkenness for an incident June 1 and was released on his own recognizance.

- James M. Reed Jr., 34, of 21928 Stein Hill Road, Cochranton, was bound over to the next term of court June 21 before Magisterial District Judge Michael Rossi on Cochranton Police Department charges of two counts of driving under the influence and one summary traffic offense for an incident May 25 and was released on his own recognizance.
- Nyna L. Stokes, 32, of 1094 Garrick Drive, Pittsburgh, was bound over to the next term of court June 25 before Magisterial District Judge Michael Rossi on a Vernon Township police charge of one count of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle for an incident Dec. 4, 2009, and was released on $10,000 unsecured bond. Previously-filed charges of two counts of theft by unlawful taking and one count of receiving stolen property were withdrawn.

- George L. Ball, 55, of 9250 Atlantic Road, Atlantic, waived his right to a preliminary hearing June 22 before Magisterial District Judge Rita Marwood on Pennsylvania State Police charges of two counts of driving under the influence and one summary traffic offense for an incident May 15 and was released on his own recognizance.
- John C. Manko, 55, of 156 Walston Ave., Avalon, waived his right to a preliminary hearing June 24 before Magisterial District Judge Rita Marwood on a Conneaut Lake Regional Police Department charge of one count of driving under the influence for an incident May 29 and was released on his own recognizance.
Crimes
State Police
- Unknown persons poured an unknown white substance onto a Conneautville woman’s car while it was parked at her home on Jefferson Street in the borough between 8:30 p.m. Sunday and 8:45 a.m. Monday.
- Unknown persons damaged gas well equipment at a well site off Dingman Road in Troy Township between June 15 and 16, causing $1,750 in damages.
- A Conneaut Lake man is accused of punching a Conneaut Lake woman in the face and leaving a black eye during a verbal argument Sunday at 12759 Birch Street, Lot 23, Summit Township, Crawford County. The accused was ctied for harassment and an investigation is ongoing.
- A Meadville man was arrested for driving under the influence after being found passed out behind the wheel on State Route 322 in West Fallowfield Township, Crawford County, on Sunday at 2:10 a.m.
- Bradley Michael Yunik, 40, Conneautville, is facing charges for terroristic threats against Laura Jean Yunik, 40, Conneautville, for an incident at their shared home at 22207 South Hickernell Road, Spring Township, Crawford County, Sunday at 1:10 a.m. The defendant threatened the victim and shot the floor with a 12 gauge shotgun.
- Charges are pending against a 46-year-old man and a 30-year-old woman after the two were involved in a physical altercation at an Alden Street, West Mead Township location around 2:55 a.m. June 14.
- Charges are pending against a 36-year-old Atlantic man and a 43-year-old Conneaut Lake man after the two engaged in a physical altercation in public at a Main Street, Greenwood Township location around 9:50 p.m. June 21.
- Someone used a 48-year-old Guys Mills man’s debit⁄check card to make several unauthorized purchases between 4 p.m. June 18 and 9 a.m. June 22. An investigation continues. Anyone with related information is asked to call state police at 332-6911.
- Charges are pending against a Conneautville man and a Conneautville woman after the two caused a disturbance while a repossession company attempted to remove their vehicle from a Conneautville location around 11 p.m. June 22.
- American Legion Post 205, Saegertown, was cited for six false alarms within 12 months. The Legion was cited for “Control of Alarm Devices and Automatic Dialing Devices” after Pennsylvania State Police responded on six occasions in a year. The charge was filed before Magisterial District Judge Michael Rossi.
- Someone entered a Sperry Road, East Fallowfield Township, residence and removed various tools around 6:18 p.m. June 24. The unidentified suspect then left the tools outside the residence and fled the scene without taking the items. An investigation continues. Anyone with information is asked to contact state police at Meadville at 332-6911.
Crashes
State Police
- No injuries were sustained when a vehicle driven by James Uplinger, 17, of Linesville struck a vehicle driven by Paul Runyan, 60, of Butler from behind on Hartstown Road, 328 feet north of Teakettle Road, in North Shenango Township on Sunday at 2:25 p.m. There was one passenger in each vehicle.
- There were no injuries in a one-vehicle crash involving Scott A. Woodlee, 31, Franklin and Chritine M. Woodlee, 34, Franklin, when they lost control and struck a guard rail at Mile Marker 154 while traveling southbound on Interstate 79 Saturday at 2 p.m. Both passengers were wearing seatbelts.
- William J. Burger, 43, of Saegertown, was driving a motorcycle east on Route 198 in Saegertown at 7:25 p.m. June 24 when the motorcycle’s kickstand struck the road, causing Burger and a passenger, Marianne Williams, 40, of Saegertown, to be ejected before the motorcycle crashed into a utility pole. Burger and Williams reportedly both sustained moderate injuries.
- Gilbete Foster, 30, of Meadville, was driving south on Interstate 79 in Cussewago Township at 4:45 a.m. June 25 when she lost control of her vehicle while attempting to avoid a deer that ran onto the road, causing the vehicle to spin off the road. Foster wasn’t injured.

Linesville Area
Magisterial District Judge
Frederick A. Vincent Jr., 46, of Hartstown, was arraigned Dec. 19 before Magisterial District Judge Rita Marwood on Pennsylvania State Police charges of one count each of burglary, criminal trespass and theft by unlawful taking for an incident Dec. 18. He was released on $25,000 unsecured bond then recommitted to Crawford County jail, Saegertown, on previous, unrelated charges.
Ricky A. Anthony, 24, of Cochranton, was bound over to the next term of court Dec. 28 on state police charges of two counts of driving under the influence and two summary offenses for an incident Oct. 22 and was released on his own recognizance.
Rebecca E. Conn, 31, of Jamestown, waived her right to a preliminary hearing Dec. 28 on a state police charge of one count of retail theft for an incident Nov. 26 and was released on her own recognizance.
Meadville Area
Magisterial District Judge
Christopher A. Boston, 19, of Meadville, was bound over to the next term of court Dec. 5 before Magisterial District Judge William Chisholm on Meadville City Police Department charges of two counts of possession with intent to manufacture or deliver and one count each of possession of a controlled substance, criminal use of a communication facility and criminal conspiracy for incidents March 2, 2010 and July 23, 2010 and was recommitted to Crawford County jail, Saegertown, in lieu of $100,000 bond.
Philip J. Reichard, 55, of Cambridge Springs, waived his right to a preliminary hearing Dec. 8 on a Pennsylvania Office of Inspector General charge of one count of welfare fraud for an incident July 31 and was released on his own recognizance.
Brandon A. Smith, 30, of Meadville, was arraigned Dec. 10 before Linesville-area Magisterial District Judge Rita Marwood, acting for Chisholm, on separately-filed Meadville police charges of six counts of possession with intent to manufacture or deliver and two counts each of criminal use of a communication facility and possession of a controlled substance for incidents Aug. 31, Sept. 7 and Sept. 8; and one count each of possession with intent to manufacture or deliver and possession of a controlled substance for an incident Dec. 10 and was committed to Crawford County jail, Saegertown, in lieu of a total of $75,000 bond.

Magisterial District Judge
Brian S. Jaggi, 26, of Corry, was bound over to the next term of court Dec. 15 before Magisterial District Judge Amy Nicols on Pennsylvania State Police at Corry charges of one count each of theft by unlawful taking, receiving stolen property and defiant trespass for an incident Nov. 3 and was released on his own recognizance.
Joseph D. Gaydosh, 23, address listed as Crawford County Correctional Facility, Saegertown, waived his right to a preliminary hearing Dec. 22 on Titusville Police Department charges of three counts each of statutory sexual assault, indecent assault, unlawful contact with a minor and corruption of minors for an incident June 1 and was recommitted to the jail in lieu of $50,000 bond.

Magisterial District Judge
Hakeem A. Selma, 21, of Columbus, Ohio, waived his right to a preliminary hearing Dec. 8 before Magisterial District Judge Michael Rossi on Vernon Township Police Department charges of one count each of indecent assault, recklessly endangering another person and harassment for an incident Aug. 23 and was released on $3,500 bond.
Justin R. Hunt, 18, of Meadville, waived his right to a preliminary hearing Dec. 13 on Pennsylvania State Police charges of two counts each of possession with intent to manufacture or deliver, possession of a controlled substance, driving under the influence and criminal conspiracy; one count each of underage drinking and use/possession of drug paraphernalia; and four summary traffic offenses for an incident July 1 and was released on $1,500 bond.
Chad M. Eckenrode, 31, of Linesville, was bound over to the next term of court Dec. 19 on state police charges of two counts of theft by deception and one count each of deceptive/fraudulent business practices, theft by failure to make required disposition of funds and home improvement fraud for incidents between Jan. 1, 2008, and Oct. 31 and was released on $10,000 bond.
Lloyd A. Decker, 31, of Waterford, was bound over to the next term of court Dec. 21 on state police charges of three counts each of theft by deception and securing execution of documents by deception; two counts of theft by failure to make required disposition of funds; and one count of deceptive business practices for an incident Jan. 1, 2010 and was recommitted to Crawford County jail, Saegertown, in lieu of $45,000 bond.Crashes

Patti Fiely, 39, of Cambridge Springs, was driving north on Old Plank Road in Venango Township at 9:54 a.m. Dec. 1 when her vehicle struck a deer that had run onto the road. Fiely was wearing a seatbelt and wasn’t injured.
Thomas Jackson, no age listed, of Madison, Ohio, was driving east on Route 6 in Conneaut Township around 11:30 a.m. Dec. 1 when his vehicle struck a deer that had run onto the road. Jackson was wearing a seatbelt and wasn’t injured.
Andrew J. Fauzey, 22, of Titusville, was driving north on Route 428 in Plum Township, Mercer County at 9:09 p.m. Dec. 6 when he lost control of his vehicle while attempting to avoid striking a deer that had run onto the road, causing the vehicle to travel off the road and roll over. Fauzey was wearing a seatbelt and sustained moderate injuries.
Randall F. Uzarski, 47, of Linesville, was driving north on Interstate 79 in Cussewago Township at 4:10 a.m. Dec. 8 when his vehicle struck a deer that had run onto the road. Uzarski was wearing a seatbelt and wasn’t injured. His vehicle sustained serious damage.
Michael D. Callan, 18, of Saegertown, was driving south on Route 6/19 in Hayfield Township at 7:30 a.m. Dec. 10 when he lost control of his vehicle due to icy road conditions, causing the vehicle to travel off the road and strike a guiderail and several trees. Callan was wearing a seatbelt and wasn’t injured.
Joseph A. Wojciechowski, 67, of Butler, was driving north on Interstate 79 in Hayfield Township at 9:43 a.m. Dec. 10 when his vehicle struck a deer that had run onto the road. Wojciechowski was wearing a seatbelt and wasn’t injured.
Sandra B. Almaroad, 61, of Madison, Ind., was driving east on Route 322 in East Fairfield Township at 6:35 p.m. Dec. 13 when her vehicle struck two deer that had run onto the road. Almaroad was wearing a seatbelt and wasn’t injured. The vehicle sustained major damage and required towing from the scene.
Kelley D. Wolfkiel, 45, of Titusville, was driving east on Thompson Run Road in Hydetown at 6:35 p.m. Dec. 13 when she lost control of her vehicle due to icy road conditions, causing the vehicle to cross into the opposing lane, strike a guiderail and roll onto its side. Wolfkiel was wearing a seatbelt and wasn’t injured. The vehicle sustained disabling damage and required towing from the scene.
Janet A. Zehner, 50, of Titusville, was driving south on Route 8 in Cherry Tree Township, Venango County at 5:55 p.m. Dec. 17 when she lost control of her vehicle due to icy road conditions, causing the vehicle to travel off the road and into a ditch, striking a large rock. Zehner was wearing a seatbelt and wasn’t injured. The vehicle sustained disabling damage and was required towing from the scene.
Stephanie M. Stiglitz, 25, of Pleasantville, was driving west on Route 27 in Oil Creek Township at 9:50 a.m. Dec. 17 when she lost control of her vehicle due to icy road conditions, causing the vehicle to spin off the road and travel sideways into a deep ditch.
