Magisterial District Judge
- Michael D. Burdick, 34, of 6903 Coulter St., Lot, 19, Hartstown, waived his right to a preliminary hearing before Magisterial District Judge Michael Rossi and was bound over to the next term of court on a charge of receiving stolen property. Vernon Township Police Department filed the charge for an incident Jan. 25. He was released on his own recognizance.
- Kevin E. Wright, 29, of 11841 McFadden Road, Guys Mills, waived his right to a preliminary hearing and was bound over to the next term of court on charges of driving under the influence and two summary counts. Pennsylvania State Police filed the charges for an incident March 31. He was released on his own recognizance.
n Marie D. Andromalos, 43, 11359 Pennsylvania Ave., Meadville, waived her right to preliminary hearing and was bound to the next of court on a charge of retail theft. Vernon Township Police filed the charges for an incident April 19 at Giant Eagle. She was released on her own recognizance.
Saegertown Area
Magisterial District Judge
- Christopher W. Brown, 35, of 25009 Henry Road, Cambridge Springs, waived his right to a preliminary hearing before Magisterial District Judge Lincoln Zilhaver and was bound over to the next term of court on charges of burglary, criminal trespass, theft by unlawful taking, receiving stolen properpty, and theft by deception. Pennsylvania State Police filed the charges for an incident April 13. He was returned to the Crawford County jail, Saegertown, in lieu of $10,000 bond.
- Cheri L. Caldwell, 21, of 26887 State Highway 27, Guys Mills, waived her right to a preliminary hearing and was bound over to the next term of court on charges of two counts of intent to manufacture or deliver a controlled substance and one count each of criminal use of a communication facility and conspiracy. Charges were filed by the Pennsylvania Office of Attorney General for an incident March 30. Two counts of intent to manufacture or deliver a controlled substance and one count of criminal use of a communication facility were withdrawn by the Attorney General’s office. She was returned to the county jail in lieu of $30,000 bond.
- Bradley E. Moser, 35, of 26887 State Highway 27, Guys Mills, was arraigned Thursday on three counts of intent to manufacture or deliver a controlled substance; one count each of conspiracy, criminal use of a communication facility, unlawful possession of a firearm and possession of drug paraphernalia. and conspiracy. Charges were filed by the Pennsylvania Office of Attorney General for an incident Feb. 2. He was released on $10,000 unsecured bond.
Titusville Area
Magisterial District Judge
- Baron Waychoff, 53, of 126 E. Main St., Titusville, waived his right to a preliminary hearing June 2 before Magisterial District Judge Amy L. Nicolson on Titusville Police Department charges of two counts of driving under the influence; one count of accident involving damage to an attended vehicle; and one summary traffic offense for an incident April 27 and was released on his own recognizance.
- John Karns, 25, of 33614 E. Freemont St., Townville, was arraigned June 3 before Linesville Area Magisterial District Judge Rita Marwood, acting for Nicols, on one count of simple assault and two counts of harassment for an incident June 2 and was committed to Crawford County jail, Saegertown, in lieu of $5,000 bond with conditions. His preliminary hearing before Nicols is scheduled for July 7.
Crashes
State Police
- Julann Recker, 28, of Pittsburgh, was driving north on Interstate 79 in Greenwood Township at 3:47 p.m. May 28 when she lost control of her vehicle while reportedly trying to avoid a pickup truck that had entered her path of travel, causing her vehicle to travel off the road and strike a tree. Recker was wearing a seatbelt and was transported to Meadville Medical Center for treatment of moderate injuries. Her 3-year-old passenger was properly restrained and sustained minor injuries. The driver of the truck — described as a white, late-model Ford F150 with a Pennsylvania registration — has not been identified. Anyone with information may call state police at 332-6911.
