MEADVILLE — Crimes State Police - A weekend burglary at Dave’s Place on State Route 77 in Richmond Township is being investigated by Pennsylvania State Police Meadville barracks. May 8 or 9, entry was forced through a side door, and a Dell laptop computer with a red top, 24 packs of soda, loose change, lunch meat and Whoppers candy were stolen before the individual or individuals involved fled the scene in an unknown direction at an unknown time. - A window was broken at Meadville Moose Lodge in East Fairfield Township at 3:54 a.m. Friday. Anyone with information is asked to contact police at 332-6911. - Unknown individuals forced their way into The Bear Moose Bar and Grill on Highways 6 and 19 in Woodcock Township Friday between 3 and 7 a.m. and opened several gaming machines to try to take the money inside before fleeing the scene in an unknown direction. - Someone broke into a Highway 6/19, Cambridge Township business and stole a Gateway computer sometime between 3 p.m. May 5 and 7 a.m. May 7. - An investigation continues after a hit-and-run crash involving a gold-colored Ford F-150 driven by an unidentified suspect on Hunter Road east of South Wayland Road in East Mead Township on May 10. - Drunk driving-related charges have been filed against a Linesville man after he was found intoxicated in a vehicle in the front yard at a Turkey Track Road, Conneaut Township property around 4:04 a.m. May 10. - A known 17-year-old Guys Mills boy is facing charges for allegedly taking parts off a scrapped vehicle at a Venango County man’s home on Kunz Road in Oil Creek Township, Venango County at 5:15 p.m. May 10, according to state police at Franklin. - Unknown persons spray painted graffiti on a wall of Howles Produce in Venango at 12:01 a.m. May 10; and graffiti was spray painted on the garage doors of the Venango Township building and a diesel tank at the township building sometime between 11 p.m. May 9 and 1 a.m. May 10. - Unknown persons entered unlocked vehicles along Park Street, Franklin Pike and Liberty Street Extension in West Mead Township between 1 and 11 a.m. May 10, removing cash, two cameras, an iPod and other items. Total loss was approximately $1,000. - At around 10:30 p.m. on May 12 someone slashed two tires of a vehicle while it was parked in the parking lot of the North Creek Apartments in Spring Township.
