MEADVILLE — Crime

State Police

n Kevin Garson, 38, of Union City, was accused of harassment at by Pennsylvania State Police for allegedly striking a Union City woman at 10:52 Sept. 26 in Bloomfield Township. He was arraigned before Magisterial District Judge William Chisholm on charges of simple assault, harassment and disorderly conduct. He was placed in Crawford County Prison in lieu of $10,000 bail, according to police.

A 15-year-old female was accused of criminal mischief for causing damage to the Andromeda House Residential Treatment Facility in Bloomfield Township at 8 p.m. on Sept. 14, according to state police. No further details were provided.



Crashes

State Police

- A 68-year-old Meadville woman was traveling east-bound on state Route 77 at Britton Run Road, Sparta Township, when she went off the roadway and struck a tree Sept. 25 at 4 p.m. after suffering an undisclosed medical condition, according to state police. She was taken to Titusville Area Hospital for moderate injuries and was later released. Her 2006 Suburban Outback sustained major damage, police reported. Spartansburg VFD was called in to assist.



Saegertown Area

Magisterial District Judge

- Ronald E. Running, 57, of Saegertown, waived his right to a preliminary hearing before Magisterial District Judge Lincoln Zilhaver and was bound over to the next term of court on two counts of driving under the influence and three summary charges. Pennsylvania State Police filed the charges for an incident on Aug. 31 in Hayfield Township. He was released on his own recognizance.

- David E. Agens III, 19, of Townville, waived his right to a preliminary hearing and was bound over to the next term of court on charges of marijuana use, use/possession of drug paraphernalia and six counts of manufacture, delivery or possession of a controlled substance with intent to manufacture or deliver. Pennsylvania State Police filed the charges for an incident on May 2 in Richmond Township. He was placed in Crawford County Prison on $5,000 bail.



Titusville Area

Magisterial District Judge

- Bobi Jo Green of Titusville was held for a preliminary hearing before Magisterial District Judge Amy Nicols on a charge of bad checks for an incident filed July 9 in Titusville. She was released on her own recognizance.



Meadville Area

Magisterial District Judge

n A case against Edgar Allen Stinson, 62, of Meadville, was waived for court following a hearing before Chisholm on a charge of prohibited possession of a firearm. Meadville police filed the charge for an incident Aug. 23 in Meadville. His bail was set as nonmonetary, with conditions.
