State Police

A known juvenile harassed someone at Bethesda Children’s Home on Route 86 in Woodcock Township at 8:45 p.m. Friday.

A 1997 Dodge Ram truck was taken from Pearl Street in Conneautville between 3 p.m. Thursday and 9:30 a.m. Friday . The vehicle was recovered in Springboro.

Unknown persons broke into a vending machine at Smitty’s Towing in Summit Township between 6 p.m. Friday and 8:13 a.m. Saturday and removed an undetermined amount of money.



Crashes

State Police

There were no injuries in a van-deer crash on Route 18 in West Fallowfield Township at 7:19 a.m. Saturday. Kelly Shrock, 33, of Hartstown was driving north on Route 18 when her van struck a deer causing severe damage to the vehicle. Shrock was wearing a seatbelt and wasn’t injured.

Timothy Peterson Jr., 23, of Erie, was injured in a one-car crash at Rotue 408 and Yankee Hill Road in Rockdale Township at 3:57 a.m. Sunday. Petersons was driving west on Route 408 when his car went off the road on a sharp curve. Peterson’s auto then drove into the yard at the Russell Bufalino residence. Peterson’s auto struck a parked sport utility vehicle and a decorative planter, both owned by Bufalino. Peterson’s auto then continued through the yard and became stuck in a ditch. Peterson then got out of his car and punched two windows on the Bufalino home for unknown reasons. Peterson was taken to Hamot Medical Center in Erie for unknown injuries. However, a nursing supervisor at Hamot said there was no record of Peterson at the hospital. Charges are pending. Cambridge Springs Volunteer Fire Department and Cambridge Area Volunteer Ambulance Service assisted at the scene.
