Magisterial District Judge
n Amy S. Morris, 32, of 541 Pine St., Meadville, waived her right to a preliminary hearing before Magisterial District Judge William Chisholm Thursday and was bound over to the next term of court on two counts of theft by unlawful taking. Meadville Police filed the charges for incidents Sept. 26 and Oct. 4. She was released on her own recognizance.
n Nicholas L. Lawson, 30, of 7681/2 Garden St., Meadville, waived his right to a preliminary hearing Thursday and was bound over to the next term of court on charges of theft and criminal mischief. Meadville Police filed the charges for an incident Sept. 5. He was released on his own recognizance.
Vernon Township Area
Magisterial District Judge
n Kimberly S. Cuzzocrea, 43, of 12745 Rising Sun Drive, Conneaut Lake, waived her right to a preliminary hearing Nov. 2 before Magisterial District Judge Michael Rossi on Vernon Township Police Department charges of two counts of driving under the influence for an incident Sept. 30 and was released on her own recognizance.

Magisterial District Judge
n Russell L. Jarrell, 22, of 1956 Highway 6 and 19, Saegertown, waived his right to a preliminary hearing Nov. 2 before Magisterial District Judge Lincoln S. Zilhaver on Pennsylvania State Police charges of two counts of driving under the influence and one summary traffic offense for an incident Oct. 10 and was released on his own recognizance.
n David A. Sherman, 35, of 6 Atlantic St., Union City, was arraigned Oct. 31 on state police charges of one count each of theft by unlawful taking and receiving stolen property for an incident Oct. 7 and was committed to Crawford County jail, Saegertown, in lieu of $20,000 bond. His preliminary hearing is scheduled for Nov. 9.
Titusville Area
Magisterial District Judge
n Michael A. Sarcinella, 41, of 313 Main St. Apt. 2, Greenville, waived his right to a preliminary hearing Nov. 2 before Magisterial District Judge Amy Nicols on Titusville Police Department charges of two counts of driving under the influence and one summary traffic offense for an incident Sept. 18 and was released on his own recognizance.
n Kevin S. Sterling, 23, of 13581 Old Route 8 North, Titusville, was bound over to the next term of court following a preliminary hearing Thursday on charges of driving under the influence, fleeing or attempting to elude police and six summary traffic counts. Titusville Police filed the charges for an incident Sept. 27. He was released on $25,000 non-monetary bond.
Crashes
State Police
n Clayton J. Lee, 20, of Spartansburg, was driving east on Route 408 in Troy Township at 5 a.m. Oct. 31 when he lost control of his vehicle, causing it to spin and roll off and on the roadway. Lee sustained minor injuries. Charges are reportedly pending.
n John Brown, 67, of Meadville, was driving south on Fauncetown Road in Troy Township at 12:05 a.m. Nov. 1 when his vehicle struck a deer that ran onto the road. No injuries were reported.
n A dark red or maroon Chevrolet truck damaged a split rail fence and yard at a home along Route 19 north of Saegertown at 10:40 p.m. Wednesday. Police said the driver apparently intended to turn his truck onto Bockman Hollow Road in Woodcock Township, but missed the turn. Persons with information about the crash are asked to contact state police at Meadville at 332-6911.

State Police
n Someone cut through a large chain at a Maple Grove Road, Bloomfield Township property and stole a tan-colored 1999 Honda FourTrax four-wheeler from a storage shed sometime between 6 p.m. Oct. 28 and 9 p.m. Oct. 30.
n Someone stole a .32-caliber semi-automatic pistol from a Guys Mills man’s vehicle while it was parked at a Forest Green Drive, West Mead Township location between 6 p.m. Oct. 31 and 9 p.m. Nov. 1.
n Someone removed a Hoyt Vetrix XL hunting bow from a vehicle parked at a Brick Church Road, Greenwood Township residence sometime between 11 p.m. Oct. 29 and noon Oct. 31.
n The rear window was smashed out of a 2006 minivan by unknown means while it was parked in the driveway of a Linda Avenue residence Oct. 31.
n Miscellaneous building materials such as doors, windows, wood and drywall were dumped in a wooded area off Beason Road, Venango Township on Oct. 27.
n An unidentified person took six bank checks by unknown means from the residence of a Hayfield Township man.
n An industrial drill, an air compressor and two nail guns were taken from a Sparta Township home on Byler Road between Oct. 1 and Wednesday.
