Magisterial District Judge
- Tyrone J. Thrush, 27, of 300 Randolph St., Meadville, was arraigned Feb. 25 before Vernon Township Area Magisterial District Judge Michael Rossi, acting for Magisterial District Judge William D. Chisholm, on Pennsylvania State Police charges of one count each of possession with intent to deliver and possession of a controlled substance for an incident Jan. 5 and was committed to Crawford County jail, Saegertown, in lieu of $50,000 bond. His preliminary hearing is scheduled for March 10.

Magisterial District Judge
- Cody L. Shaulis, 22, of 32955 Three Bridges, Centerville, waived his right to a preliminary hearing Feb. 23 before Magisterial District Judge Michael Rossi on Pennsylvania State Police charges of two counts each of theft by unlawful taking and theft by deception for incidents Dec. 23, 2009, and Jan. 15 and was released on his own recognizance.

- William C. Smeltzer, 34, of 51/2 Church St., Greenville, was arraigned Feb. 25 before Magisterial District Judge Lincoln S. Zilhaver on Pennsylvania State Police charges of one count each of burglary, theft by unlawful taking and receiving stolen property and a total of three counts of criminal conspiracy for an incident July 9, 2009, and was released on nonmonetary bond. His preliminary hearing is scheduled for March 8.
- Amanda M. Smeltzer, 22, of 51/2 Church St., Greenville, was arraigned Feb. 25 on state police charges of one count each of burglary, theft by unlawful taking and receiving stolen property and a total of three counts of criminal conspiracy for an incident July 9, 2009 and was released on nonmonetary bond. Magisterial District Judge
- Edward C. Silvis, 45, of 11006 Johnson Road, Titusville, was bound over to the next term of court Feb. 23 before Magisterial District Judge Amy Nicols on Pennsylvania State Police charges of one count each of driving under the influence, recklessly endangering another person and accidents involving personal injury while not properly licensed, and six summary traffic offenses for an incident Dec. 3, 2009 and was released on $5,000 bond.

- DonnaLee A. Sanderson, no age listed, of Westfield, N.Y., was driving a rented moving truck on Interstate 79 in Hayfield Township at 4:29 p.m. Feb. 25 when she lost control of the vehicle, causing it to overturn. No injuries were reported.
n Larry C. Hawk, 56, of Meadville, was driving south on Route 19 in Union Township at 7:19 p.m. Feb. 25 when he lost control of his vehicle, causing it to slide into the path of and strike an oncoming vehicle being driven by Gary L. Groshner, 47, of Cochranton. Both drivers were reportedly wearing seatbelts. Hawk was transported to Meadville Medical Center for treatment of unspecified injuries; Groshner also sustained unspecified injuries.
